The Last 2 Changed Everything.
I started in 2006 integrating Amadeus GDS APIs for flight booking portals — code that touched real airline data for real travellers. That early experience of building systems that matter shaped everything that came after.
For 10 years at V Ships UK, I built a complete maritime enterprise suite — payroll, recruitment, crew management, health benefits — for one of the world's largest ship management companies. I delivered onsite in Glasgow, UK. I learned what it means to own systems that cannot fail.
Then Cambridge Associates. 7 years. 13 investment applications. MARS, AACS, IMDB.net, BAR, Backbridge — the backbone of a $500B+ advisory firm's data infrastructure. I became a domain expert in how institutional investment data flows, why it matters, and what breaks when it doesn't work.
Then I decided to upskill for AI. Not by taking a course. By building. 7 products. Real architecture. Real deployment. InvestIQ presented to CA senior leadership. SkyChat live on the internet. ContextPilot solving a problem no tool solves today.
I am not a developer who learned AI. I am a domain expert who became an AI architect. That is a different thing entirely.
